Conference venue
The conference will take place in the building of the Centrum Konferencyjno-Szkoleniowe UWM (ul. Benedykta Dybowskiego 11, Olsztyn, Poland; see map).
Transportation & currency
The easiest way to get to the city center is to take a taxi in the airport (no need to book them in advance).
The taxi to the city center costs about 30-40 PLN (10 euro). It's however important to have some
local currency (1 euro approx 4 Polish zloty (PLN)), since the driver may not accept euros in cash or credit cards.
In general, it's best to use local ATM machines instead of currency exchange points in the airport
(called "Kantor").
The conference starts on September 9th 11:00am with the opening and awards ceremony followed by the lecture
by the Laureate of the Bohdan Paczynski Medal. Please check the full program.
Lunch breaks
Lunches are not provided by the organizers, but there are several places close to the conference venue where
participants can have lunch (local organizers will provide more specific information later).
The cost of a simple lunch is typically 30 Polish zloties (a regular meal + drink). The tips are not mandatory.
