Otwarcie 40. Zjazdu PTA (poniedziałek 13 września 2021 w godzinach 10:00-15:15)
odbędzie się w Warszawie (Aula Centrum Astronomicznego im. M. Kopernika w Warszawie, ul. Bartycka 18) i będzie transmitowane na platformie internetowej konferencji. Natomiast poniedziałkowy panel i wszystkie sesje będą zdalne.
Przypominamy, że termin zgłaszania posterów na 40. Zjazd PTA mija 31 sierpnia 2021 r. Termin ten dotyczy również nadsyłania plików z treścią posterów. Prosimy o przesyłanie posterów w
formacie PDF (maksymalny rozmiar 100 MB). Pliki można przesłać na jeden z poniższych sposobów:
1) Po zalogowaniu na stronie zjazdu do swojego konta, w zakładce kokpit/dashboard widoczny jest prosty formularz, którym można przesłać plik ze swojego komputera na serwer PTA. W polu „Info from a user” można wpisać krótką uwagę, np. jeśli wysyłamy zaktualizowaną wersję pliku. Strona pokazuje listę wysłanych do tej pory przez użytkownika plików. Aby zobaczyć plik wgrany przed chwilą, trzeba odświeżyć stronę.
2) Alternatywnie można plik przesłać e-mailowo na adres zjazd@pta.edu.pl.
3) Jeżeli plik jest zbyt duży na załączanie do e-maila, można go umieścić na dowolnym serwerze lub dysku w chmurze i przesłać na adres zjazd@pta.edu.pl link do pobrania albo wykorzystać któryś z serwisów do transferu plików (np. https://wetransfer.com) podając jako odbiorcę zjazd@pta.edu.pl.
Jak przygotować wirtualny plakat?
Wirtualny plakat może być w formie pojedynczego PDF slajdu, najlepiej w formacie „landscape” lub w postaci interaktywnej prezentacji PDF.
Rozmiar czcionki powinien być dopasowany tak by swobodnie można było oglądać plakat na ekranie komputera.
Tradycyjny styl w postaci dużego formatu A0 nie jest właściwy dla plakatów wirtualnych.
Dla tych, którzy króciutko chcieliby zareklamować swój plakat przewidzieliśmy mini-sesję w środę 15 września w godzinach 14:00-15:00. Osoby zainteresowane prosimy o kontakt pod adresem zjazd@pta.edu.pl.
Sesje plakatowe to czas na obejrzenie plakatów i przedyskutowanie ich treści z autorami. Każdy poster będzie miał swój „pokój” do ogólnej dyskusji na czacie lub zadania pytania autorowi w prywatnej wiadomości, albo umówienia się na rozmowę “na żywo”. Zachęcamy autorów plakatów, aby byli dostępni online podczas sesji plakatowych, odpowiadali na pytania i brali aktywny udział w dyskusji.

The Opening of the 40th Meeting of the Polish Astronomical Society (Monday 13th of September 2021, 10:00-15:15) will take place in the main lecture room of the Nicolaus Copernicus Astronomical Center of the Polish Academy of Sciences, in Warsaw ul Bartycka 18 and transmitted online. Whereas, the panel on Monday and all sessions all other days will be online.
We would like to remind you that the deadline for the poster submission for the 40th Meeting of the Polish Astronomical Society is 31st August 2021. We kindly ask you to send your poster ready for the presentation by this date. You poster should be in PDF format (no more than 100 MB). You can send your poster in one of the following ways:
1. Login in your account on the meeting webpage. Click on the kokpit/dashboard. At the bottom of the page you will see the form to send the file from your computer to the conference server. There is a possibility to send a short information using „Info from a user”. You can see a list of the files you have sent after refreshing the page.
2. Alternatively, you can send your poster by e-mail to zjazd@pta.edu.pl.
3. If your file is too big for the mailer than you can place it in a cloud and send the download link to zjazd@pta.edu.pl. You can also use any transfer file service (e.g. https://wetransfer.com) stating zjazd@pta.edu.pl as the recipient.
How to prepare your virtual poster?
Your virtual poster can be either in the form of a classical, static, 1 slide-poster layout preferentially in landscape format or as an interactive PDF presentation.
Please use large font sizes to allow viewing the poster on a standard computer screen.
The 'traditional style’ of a single large sheet of A0 is not appropriate for a virtual poster.
There is also a possibility to advertise your poster during a mini-session on Wednesday 15th of September after lunch 14:00-15:00. Those who are interested please let us know at zjazd@pta.edu.pl as soon as possible.
The poster sessions will be organised in a similar way as those face-to-face poster sessions. This will be an ideal time to look at the posters, ask the questions to the authors using chat, private messages or even talk to the authors in the online conversation. There will be “rooms” for such activities. We encourage the authors of posters and all participants to be present during so much appreciated informal discussions during the poster sessions.
